Helga Sanner

Helga Sanner, MD, PhD, is a professor of rheumatology at the University of Oslo and a senior consultant at Oslo University Hospital. Her clinical and academic work focuses on juvenile dermatomyositis and other inflammatory myopathies, with interests in long-term outcomes, prognostic factors, and physical fitness. Her recent research also addresses early-life risk factors for pediatric rheumatic diseases, including juvenile idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. She has contributed to several international myositis collaborations and held leadership roles within the Paediatric Rheumatology European Society JDM Working Party.
