Rohit Aggarwal

Dr. Aggarwal is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and Medical Director of the Arthritis and Autoimmunity Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He is also the co-director of the UPMC Myositis Center. His clinical and research interests focus on idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (myositis) and associated interstitial lung disease, and he leads several phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials in these areas. He is director of the Myositis Clinical Trials Consortium (MCTC) and a past chair of both the IMACS scientific committee and the Medical Advisory Board of The Myositis Association (TMA), the leading physician consortium and the largest patient organization in myositis.
